217km Death Valley Challenge (挑战死亡峡谷) Completed !!

Yes !! Finally after a long endurance + running + walking, the 2 local runners have finally completed the race successfully. Congratulation to both the runners!! A great achievement for Singapore too as they are now the first 2 South-East Asia runners to complete such a long 217km Death Valley Ultra-marathon distance.

The amazing thing is that even though Mr Lim's ankle was injured but he still managed to run a bit for a few km near the ending point and finished first with a timing of 51.49 hours, while Mr Yong also finished the race in 54.39 hours. From their timing, they are only slightly over a few hours from the original targetted timing of 50 hours, which it considered quite good already.

Below is a video link to the completion of their 217 km race.
