Future MRT Network Masterplan 2020

(Overview of the MRT network in Year 2020)

Recently, I read an article from the MyPaper on the future development of MRT Network Masterplan by Year 2020.

To cater for the increase of population using the public transports MRT system, LTA has plan to introduce new MRT line to solve the problem in the long run.

Other than the upcoming Circle Line, there will also be 3 Downtown Lines to be ready by year 2013, 2015 and 2016 respectively. After than, another new year call Thomson Line will be completed in Year 2018, follow by the Eastern Regional Line to be ready by Year 2020.
