I was invited my army friend, ZS to be his brother together with a few of my platoonamtes. On Friday night, I went over his place to stay overnight after my work in order to get ready to fetch the bride on the next day.
As early as 5+am, we woke up to washup, dressup and prepare ourselves before we set off to fetch the bride at Bukit Panjang around 6+am and then move on to their ah ma’s house at Sengkang for praying before going back to the bridegroom house ultimately.
At the bride’s house, we were “played” by the bride’s sisters outside the unit corridor, eating “don’t know what mixed chocolate”, drinking some sour drink, singing songs etc. We even prepared a very big A2 size Ang Pao just to settle the sisters… haha I think we almost stayed at the unit corridor for almost 20 minutes before we are allowed to enter the house to fetch the bride.
After the returning to the bridegroom house, we have some buffet lunch then we went back home to have some rest before going for the wedding dinner at ShanShui Palace Resturant @ Raffles Country Club at 450 Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim near Tuas area.

During the wedding dinner, I should say that the dishes are served very efficiently and the dinner ending around 10+pm just nice for us to catch the shuttle bus to Jurong East. That ended another wedding and I still need to go for my vertical marathon on the next morning. … :)
