(Entrance of Sembawang Park & Map of the Park)
(View of Dawn at Sembawang Park beach when we arrived there)
This Sunday morning, I accompanied my mum to have a morning walk at the Sembawang Park organized by our area RC committee. We board the coach at around 7.05 am which only consists of 20+ person. Haha. We reached there at 7.45am and took a group photo before visiting the park. The fee for the sembawang park outing is $2 and is refundable after the visit. This is my second time to this park, while my first time there was few years back when my poly friend drove me there.
This park is 15 ha in size and is located at the northern Singaporean facing the Johor Straits with unique distinct “1” blue dice design located in many parts of the park. I think it can be called a mini “East Coast Park to the north”. BBQ pits can also be found in the park near the beach for friends and family’s gathering and there are also proper footpaths for joggers to enjoy their morning jog too.

Other than that, the park also has interesting links to the naval history of Singapore; the Beaulieu House which was once the seaside house of a David’s family probably built around 1910 and is now a popular restaurant and the Sembawang jetty where you can see people going there for fishing. On the left of the jetty is the Sembawang Shipyard which was once a British Naval Base from 1938 to 1968.

It is quite a nice park for a visit and it can be accessible by bus 882 from bus interchange at Sembawang MRT station at a frequency of 20 minutes or by private vehicles since carparks are available at both entrances of Sembawang Road and Tuah Road.
