MacRitchie TreeTop Walk

Yesterday, I went for a hiking trail with my NTU classmates and also to visit the HSBC TreeTop Walk. Actually I have visited the TreeTop Walk before 2 years ago with 2 of my army friends, but this time, there are more people. So it’s more fun. Ü

Basically, we started off from Prunus Trail from the MacRitchie Main entrance at around 11+am and walked past the MacRitchie Nature Trail and also the Island Club Road, before proceeding to TreeTop Walk via the Peirce Track. Along the way, we took many photos in the trail and also at the TreeTop Walk.

(What the group are looking at so seriously - Monkeys !!)

But we stayed even longer on the TreeTop Walk suspension bridge to relax, take photos and also to have a bite on the Quaker cookie and cream bars bought by Sabri. Many thanks to her. Ü We stayed on the bridge for approximately 5 to 10 min or so or even longer, since we walked a long way here, so don’t want to waste the effort. I think we 死赖着不走。Haha Ö

After the TreeTop Walk visit, we walked back to the MacRitchie main entrance via the Petailing Trail, Sime Track and the Golf Link. Along the way, we also climbed up the Jelutong Tower to have a panorama view of MacRitchie Nature Park. We even walked on the newly erected boardwalk (Jelutong Trail & Chemperai Trail) beside the MacRitchie Reservoir. At 1 stretch of the boardwalk trail, we also noticed an very old unattended tomb just beside the Reservoir. Actually I also discovered that quite long time ago.

After 6 hour of walk or so, we finally completed the trail of MacRitchie and I am very impressive the 2 gals manage to conquer such a long trail distance of 10+km or so. 3 Cheers for them. After the trail, we had dinner at Novena Square before proceeding home.

Need some rest before conquering another building again. hehe
