After a 4 to 5 hours long journey, we finally reached KL and took a cab to our hotel for a good day rest. On the 1st day of our trip on 22 Dec, we first visited Plaza Rakyat to buy our bus & cable car tickets to Genting Highland for 23 Dec. The place is full of people with many bus tickets booths. We took the LRT there and I realized they are still using the type of Translink Card that we used to use in the past in S’pore. After that, we went over to Jalan Petaling (Petailing Street- so call their Chinatown over there) to see see look look + recee around. Later on, we moved on to Times Square shopping mall at Imbi to moved around and have a look at its indoor theme park. Other than that we also visited other shopping mall such as Plaza Low Yakt, Sungei Wang Plaza.
After that we moved on to the famous Petronas Twin Towers at KLCC and when we reached there it was almost close to evening. The interesting part is that we spent around 1 hour outside the towers just to taken the photos of the 2 towers and also to squeezed out ideas to have the 5 of us taken in the photos with the 2 Towers. Haha. Ü However we were disappointed not to have the chance to go up to the sky bridge on the 41st storey of the towers to have a wide view of KL since we went there late.
On day 2 (23rd Dec) morning, we moved out early @ 7+am from our hotel to broad the bus at Plaza Rakyatand then cable car to Genting Highland. My friend did mentioned to me that Genting Highland is cold but I still forget to bring my sweater along which I left it in the hotel. Ha. It was really cold and cooling up at the Genting and I can already feel the cold when we were taking the cable car up there.
It was quite enjoyable at Genting and I also tried out my new digital camera technique of taking panorama long photo of the outdoor theme park there. I also got to enter the Casino for the 1st time to have some fun and try out some luck. All the 5 of us did spent a min of 50 RM over there, but all lost out the $ in the end. (全军覆没) haha. After that we went back to Petailing Street to have a last minute night shopping to buy some clothes and also souvenirs and then ceased fire for the day.
