KL Trip 2006 - Part 2 (Day 3&4)

On the 3rd day (24th Dec), we waked up early and moved to eat the delicious Fish-Head noodle (recommended by a Taxi-driver over there) at a stall close to our hotel. For only 20 RM, we got to have a very large 4 person shared-claypot of fish head noodle (See the picture below). The claypot is really really large which I ought to mention here. Later on, we moved on to another large shopping mall called “Mid Valley MegaMall” near Bangsar area to do some window shopping again. The shopping mall consists of 4 storeys and 1 basement of shopping area + 2 basements of carparks. It was quite enjoyable shopping over there. Think we walk and shop too much. Haha.

In the evening, we also went to Bukit Bintang (so call their Orchard road over there) to experience the Christmas atmosphere of KL. They were quite many people and it was quite similar to Singapore where they also played around with their white foam spray. However I realized that they lacked the Christmas decoration outside along the street which we get to see in S’pore Orchard.

On the last day, we have our last breakfast meal of Fish-Head noodle again at the stall, and then we check out from the hotel at around 12+pm and took a short walk to the nearest LRT station to Times Square again to kill some time b4 we boarded our coach back to S’pore. Along the way, I found an interesting vending machine along the street call “WATERSHOP” (so call their watercooler over there but need $$ - see picture below) which will refill our water @ 20 sen for 1 litre. Haha. Interesting machine. (Tip - don’t waste plain water during KL trip)

Along the journey back to S’pore, we relaxed in the coach watching at some pre-loaded movies. Then at 1 of the toilet break stations, we saw a beautiful scenery view of the sun set over the far hills. We took some photos over there and I tried out the panorama long photo technique again. Ha

Overall, it was quite an enjoyable and pleasant trip and it was lucky for us not to experience any rain or flood in KL as we have heard from the new of Johor and other states flooding.

=> The End
