4th ICT 2007

Finally completed my 4th re-service training yesterday. 6 more to go b4 ROD. This one is a short 5 days low key training. But then the training pace is quite fast for this one. More like a high key training bah. Haha.

Actually it has being quite a while since I went for outfield training back in last year’s ICT. The weather is really hot in the outfield and the sun is really strong, forcing my platoon mates and me to drink lots of water to cool down a bit and also finding shade to keep away from the sun while waiting for instruction.

During the training in the outfield, CPT Wee shared some of his past experience during his army life and gave us some advices on how our drills can be improved. Haha. I can still remember he can share his past experience talking to my group for around 2 hours w/o stopping on the 1st night. Serious man...

Then the worst thing is the mosquitoes attack in the night time during the 1st day outfield training. I think the mosquitoes are very hungry for blood bah. Waiting us to 1 whole year b4 they can attack our blood again. Haha. Many of my platoon mates all KANA the mosquitoes attack. Hand & body very red...

Then on the 2nd day of outfield, when we were deployed at 1 of the locations, waiting for instruction to do our drill training, we saw an average sized spider hanging on its spider web on the edge of some virginal leaves (got its name due to 1 part of its leave. Interesting. Explained by CPT Wee). Then 1 of my platoon friend very playful, throw maggi mee at the spider & on its web to see whether the spider will eat the maggi mee. In the end, the spider was VERY VERY hardworking to remove all the maggi mee on its web one by one without eating any.

Anyway, it is still good to meet up with some of my platoon friends again and train up together. It has been quite a good experience. See u guys in next year’s ICT bah. Ü
