Visit to Lasalle & Archifest08

(Archifest 2008)

Today, I visited the Archifest exhibition at the National Library with daw. Just before I met daw, I was walking past Sim Lim Square area, and I noticed a unique building structure in front of me.

My curiosity has drawn me to the building to take a closer look and I found that the building is actually the new Lasalle College of the Arts completed in 2007. The building is quite unique in the sense that the outer façade is made up tilted glass and the internal features can be clearly seen from the outside. With my camera, I took quite some time taking a few photos around the vicinity.

After finishing with my snapshots, I went to met daw and walked to National Library for the Archifest exhibition. However this year Archifest was a bit of disappointment as there is only poster displays outside the Plaza compared to last year’s exhibition at City Hall where there are more stuff to see, including the model of the design that participants have made. Nevertheless, we still spend quite some time browsing the posters one by one.
