The run was well organized for a public run and traffic was closed for all the lanes along the running routes. It was great running on the road without any vehicles passing by. Overall, both of us complete the race with a timing of 27 minutes. It has been sometime that I complete a 5km run with timing below 30 minute. The feeling was great. Cheers Ü

After the race, we rested for a while before buying some bee hoon and soya bean drink from the charity booth to fill up out hungry stomach. In the poly, we also saw the ex-actor 王田裁 manning 1 of the charity booth selling Organic Green Tea. Each of us took a photo with him before we left the race venue.

After the run, I rushed back home to bathe and took the train down to Bugis area to attend my Uni schoolmate’s wedding lunch. I was actually slightly late for the wedding lunch, but still manage to attend it. The lunch is of buffet style and we need to queue up for the food. Haha. I took some photos with my Uni friends there for some memories.
After the wedding dinner, my friend gave us a ride back to Singapore and it was how my long Sunday ended…
Today is a very busy Sunday for me. 3 events all packed in 1 single day. Early in the morning at 7.30am, I went for the Republic Charity 5km Run at Republic Polytechnic with KT. I heard there are H1N1 cases from the polytechnic, but many participants still turn up for the run.

After the wedding lunch, I rushed back home again to bathe and proceed to Kranji MRT station to broad the bus to JB to attend another wedding dinner for my secondary school classmate. The lucky thing is that my house is still quite near Kranji. Haha.
I met my sec school classmates at City Square and had a ride on my friend’s car to Dawasan Danga Bay where the wedding dinner was held. The restaurant name is called “Grand Straits Garden Restaurant”. It is supposed to be near the sea, but cannot really see the sea near there. Haha. We did saw a long stretch of shopping mall along the way at Danga Bay and it is still active during the night time. It is also my first time visiting Danga Bay in Malaysia other than JB, KL and Malaka. The dinner at JB was a great one as some of the dishes were quite tasty and delicious. It was great meeting up with my secondary school classmates again and getting along together.
