Tonight, my elder brother and my sister in law with my 2 naughty nephews brought my mum out for a dinner to celebrate your 60 years old BD at a Hokkien Restaurant. The restaurant was actually recommended by my elder’s brother friend. The restaurant name is called “Beng Hiang Restaurant - 茗香菜馆” and is located along Amoy Street, just opposite Far East Square near Chinatown area.
Beng Hiang Restaurant was established in 1978 (1 year older than me. Haha) and is one of the best Hokkien restaurants in Singapore as it has won a few awards along the way.

For our dinner, we ordered around 7 to 8 dishes such as海参鸭煲, 五香虾枣,炆福建面, Deep Fried Chicken with Lychee. Some of the famous dishes need pre-ordering, so we did not manage to try out. The lychee chicken was something new to me and it is quite nice, but I think the meat is too much. The other dishes that we ordered were also tasty too. Cheers. Haha.
