Tonight, I attended the RRS2010 appreciation reception held at the NTU executive centre auditorium. The main purpose of this event is to celebrate the success of the RRS2010 as well as to present plaques and certificates of appreciation to the core runners and their support runners.

I arrived at the venue around 6.35pm and collected the RRS2010 video DVD at the reception which was specially prepared for the guests. Before entering the auditorium, I took some photos outside the auditorium and read on the articles of the RRS2010 that were displayed there. At around 7+pm, most of the guests entered the auditorium and we watched the recorded video of the RRS2010 that was held on the 27 & 28 March 2010.

After the video, there was a welcome speech by the Chairman of RRS2010, Mr Soon, followed by another speech from NTU president, Dr Su. After that, Dr Su presented the plaques and certificates of appreciation to the core runners and their support runners.

Following that, all the guests proceed to the area outside the auditorium to have the buffet style dinner and interact with one another during this period time. I took my share of the food and chatted with the core runner, Mr Teng who I have supported during his run on RRS2010. It was really a enjoyable night at NTU. Let us hope there is another run coming again 5 years time down the road in RRS2015. Cheers.
