Last evening I visited the Lights of Spring at Imbiah of Sentosa which is quite near to the newly constructed Resorts World Singapore. This free event is held from 13 Feb to 21 Feb 2010 from 7pm to 10.30.pm and tonight is actually is the last day.
The main attractions of this event are the light displays decorations including the 12 zodiac characters and the colourful Merlion created by light projection. They are divided into 7 sectors called Happy Tiger Family, Fluidity Pond, Togetherness, Tress of Life, Language of Love, Bells of Prosperity and Rings of Enchantment. Each sector has their own unique design to attract the visitors.
When I was there, I saw quite a number of visitors gathering at the venue snapping photographs or having a good time at the venue. I wondered around snapping photographs of the lighting displays until around 10pm before I took a short walk to the newly constructed Resorts World Singapore for a visit. At the Resorts World, I happened to see my secondary Chinese teacher 萧老师. I chatted with her for a short while and continue my walk to the entrance of the Casino for a look.I left Sentosa around 11pm by the monorail back to Vivocity.

Trees of Life
- A tree of life represents the cycle of rebirth. Several Wish Charms were hanged on the trees at the venue (Each wish charm cost $2)
Togetherness
- The 2 interlocking circles of lights represent Togetherness and Eternal Unity and its shape of "8" symbolises good fortune in chinese culture.
Language of Love
- Beautiful Victorian garden pavilion for Lovebirds.
Bells of Prosperity
- Hanging floral bouquets with bells symbolise Prosperity, Abundance and Good Fortune.
Ring of Enchantment
- The 10 rings represent the popular wishes for Happiness, Health, Abundance, Love, Harmony, Togetherness, Wealth, Longevity, Knowledge and Peace.
